The Velvet Range of kangaroo Paws have been thoroughly tested in the landscape. They have been found to be far more disease tolerant, and are well suited to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
In Canberra plant in slightly sheltered areas. In Queensland the extra humidity may eventually kill them, so only use in Queensland if you are happy to get approximately 2 years out of the plants.
Over the years we have conducted many trials comparing Velvet Kangaroo Paws to other varieties, and the Velvet range have always been the best landscape performers.
